Wolves remain unbeaten under caretaker coach Lowes

Warrington are up to fourth in Super League after a 38-20 win over Hull Kingston-Rovers at Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The Wolves were led to victory by tries from Ben Westwood, Martin Gleeson, Ben Harrison, Paul Rauhihi, Chris Riley, and a brace from Lee Briers.

Hicks kicked five goals for James Lowes' side who leap above Bradford and Wigan.

Hull KR, who trailed 14-16, scored tries through Chris Chester, Ben Fisher, Shaun Briscoe, and Peter Fox while Paul Cooke kicked two goals.

Elsewhere, Hull won the basement battle 40-14 against Castleford at the KC Stadium.

The home side, who led 18-8 at the break, were led by a hat-trick from Craig Hall and Danny Tickle kicking eight goals.

Kirk Yeaman scored a brace while Shaun Briscoe also touched down for Hull, to move them into tenth place.

The rock-bottom Tigers scored tries through Craig Huby and Ned Catic while Kirk Dixon kicked three goals.

Elsewhere, Wakefield piled on the misery for Huddersfield with a 28-26 victory over Huddersfield at Belle Vue.

The Wildcats touched down through Scott Grix, Kevin Henderson, Jason Demetriou, and a brace from Jamie Rooney while Danny Brough kicked three goals.

Huddersfield, who mounted a second-half comeback after trailing 18-8 at the break, crashed over four times through Jamal Lolesi, Eori Crabtree, John Skandalis, and Darrell Griffin while Chris Thorman kicked five goals.

The win for Wakefield sees them climb into sixth place while the Giants slip to 11th position.
